TC Rides is named after Tallulah and Chloe — and like most things worth doing, it began with a simple observation: life is better on a bike.

We'd watched it in France, where cycling isn't a weekend hobby or a fitness regime. It's just how people get around. No fuss, no lycra, no excuses. Just wheels, fresh air, and a better way to move through your day.

Then we started noticing it closer to home. Fat tyre e-bikes taking over the Gold Coast. Riders on every path, every beach road, every morning commute. We looked at New Plymouth's Coastal Walkway — one of New Zealand's most beautiful stretches of riding — and asked ourselves: why isn't this everywhere here yet?

So we decided to be first.

TC Rides exists to bring fat tyre e-bikes to New Zealand — properly, affordably, and for everyone. Not just the lycra crowd. Not just the early adopters. Everyone.

With fuel prices climbing and life getting more expensive, the maths has never been simpler.
